OT: Einreise mit fremdem Auto nach Polen

Post by Ralf1963 »

Hallo aus Berlin / Hello from Berlin.

Deutsch:

Danke!

Ralf

English:
I have just seen in the news its required in Poland now to have a permission of a car owner to use his car. E.g. a son needs his mothers permission if the car is registered using her name or if you drive a car of a friend, he needs to write a permission.
I had the intention to visit the region of Zachodniopomorskie on the upcoming weekend, but as my car is registered to my mothers name I'm unsure now how to proceed. I don't really know if this new regulation is in place by now and/or if this is for foreing people only...

I would appreciate if someone could translate this text into Polish:
I, (Name), born on (Birthdate) in (Place of birth), permit: (Name), born on (Birthdate) in (Place of birth), the unlimited use of my own car holding the license number: (Car-License Number).

If someone likes to modify the text to fulfill polish regulations more easily please feel free to change my draft.

Thank you!

Ralf

Auf polnisch:

Ja, (Name), urodzona dn. (Geburtsdatum) w (Geburtsort), zezwalam: (Name), urodzonemu dn. (Geburtsdatum) w (Geburtsort), na nieograniczone korzystanie z zarejestrowanego na mnie samochodu o rejestracji: (KFZ-Kennzeichen).

I did`t hear about this permissions ;).
Many people visit poland and very often car`s owner is mother, son, husband etc. I did`t know about any problems related with this especially when Last name is this same. Just take your additonal document like ID card or passport to be sure. But of course you can make this permission with signature your mum if you want :)
Enjoy

... and remember: in Poland you must have lights on in your car, all day and all night - all year round.

PS. The maximum speed limit for all vehicles throughout built-up areas is 50 km/h. Following are the speed limits on Polish roads outside built-up areas for cars, motorbikes or trucks (up to 3.5 ton):

- 130 km/h on highways and motorways;
- 110 km/h on double - road expressway;
- 100 km/h on single - road expressway;
- 90 km/h on all other roads.
